422 Request violates a domain rule

HTTP status
422
Title
Request violates a domain rule
Code
unprocessable

What it means

The request is well formed but breaks a domain rule, for example an invalid combination of fields.

It is also the catch-all of status 422: an error of that status that has no more specific code answers with this one.

What to do

Read detail and errors[], then change the request.

Example

Errors are RFC 9457 problem details, sent as application/problem+json. See Errors for every field.
